I despise western imperialism. A lot of our misery lays at their feet. I hate their bootlickers both in and out Iran. People who are either stupid enough to believe America will bring freedom to Iran(like they weren’t the ones who took it away from us in 53) or evil enough to think that by American intervention they can steal Iran’s resources.
I also despise the religious fundamentalists who have held unto power by abusing Iranians’ justified fear of the west. They have imposed medieval rules for the people all the while stealing and monopolising Iran’s rich resources. They have killed and imprisoned countless people from student activists to union workers. This can no longer go on.
Are we not worried about the possibility of foreign intervention in Iran? Of course we are. We have learnt that lesson through years of struggle. It’s in our blood. Does that mean we should lay down and allow a bunch of ancient fucks ruin our country? No. Enough is enough.
The arbitrary choice between islamic fundamentalism and American imperialism is false. We are fighting for an authentic third way.
Be our voice. Help prevent us from getting stifled. We’ will worry about our movement getting hijacked.
YEARS of content drought excused by them working on the PvE, a whole sequel that was released whose one and Only selling point over the original was that PvE would be coming, this genuinely might be the single biggest fuck up from a company we’ve seen in Years and it’s so deserved happening to Blizzard 💚
Over the past few months, Fox has used tracks from the band’s latest album 10,000 gecs as transitional music for its afternoon panel show The Five, with co-anchor Greg Gutfeld even referring to Dylan Brady and Laura Les’s outfit as “the best new band out”. He also gave a shout-out to Death Grips and Killing Joke, adding that the music was “amazing”.
The madness began in late March when Gutfeld boldly claimed that “Biden’s green agenda is actually helping China to cash in” during a taping of The Five. As the show cut to a commercial break, viewers could hear gecs song “The Most Wanted Person In The United States” play out while a photo of Biden remained on screen. Then on April 4, as Gutfeld announced that the “Chinese sky balloons” had managed to “scoop up more sensitive secrets than what Joe Biden told us about”, the band’s track “Doritos & Fritos” played the segment out.
